LARAMIE, Wyo. – Wyoming men’s golf faces a full slate of action next week with two tournaments in a six-day span. The Cowboys will first head to Eugene, Ore., for the Duck Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. Then UW will travel to Stanford, Calif., for The Goodwin running Thursday through Saturday.

Wyoming is coming off an 11th-place finish at the Arizona NIT last month. Senior Ryan Wallen and Junior Glenn Workman tied for UW’s lowest score at 218 (+2). Workman and sophomore John Murdock each shot Wyoming’s best single-round score at 70 (-2).

In the Cowboys’ first two tournament of the spring season, they have played against a combined seven teams ranked in the top 50. Two more top-50 teams await this weekend. The tournament host Ducks are the top-ranked team at No. 5 in the nation. Mountain West foe San Diego State is currently ranked 32nd. The Cowboys haven’t appeared at the Duck Invite since the 2013-14 season. In 2014, Wyoming finished tied for 11th out of a 16-team field.

Live stats for the Duck Invite will be available through golfstat.com at the link above, as well as updates at @wyo_golf on twitter. The link for The Goodwin will be added once it is created.
