Leading up to the start of Wyoming men’s golf’s 2017 spring
season, our ‘Ask the Cowboys’ series will include features on each member of
the team. The first installment is an interview with junior Glenn Workman, a
native of Pueblo, Colo.
Hats or visors?
Depends, for some reason in the winter, a ball cap. On a hot
summer day, tour visor all the way.
What is your favorite
ball marker?
Egyptian pound, I like the Pharaoh on it and the weight of
it.
What is your favorite
restaurant?
I love Born in a Barn, for the wings.
What is your favorite
sports team?
The Denver Broncos, My family has had season tickets since
’97 the games are so fun.
What is your favorite
golf moment?
My favorite golf moment was actually this last fall, when we
were coming down the stretch at the CU invite. There is nothing more exciting
to me than being in contention with your teammates on the last day and having
all that pressure and knowing its all of you out there grinding for every shot.
It was exhilarating.
What is your favorite
music genre?
I like a lot of house music. No words, just sounds. Whenever
I need to focus, house music just gets me zoned in.
What is your favorite
club in your bag?
My putter. Teresa is beautiful.
What is one of your
hobbies?
I love to just sit on my computer and look at Excel,
figuring out new things and all of the cool stuff within Excel.
Who is the funniest
person on the team?
Probably Cole Bundy. I love his intelligent humor and he
always says the funniest things in the most serious of times.
