Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 28 through Friday, March 3, former Wyoming Cowboys Brian Hill and @Chase will both be part of the first group tested at the 2017 NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. Running backs, offensive linemen and special teams participants will be the first three position groups that will be tested at this year’s NFL Combine. Individuals in those three groups are scheduled to arrive in Indianapolis on Tuesday, Feb. 28, with their on-field workouts to be aired on NFL Network on Friday, March 3.
Among the items on the schedule for the first three position groups (RB, OL, ST) over the four days will be:
Day 1, Tuesday, Feb. 28 -- Registration, Hospital Pre-exams and X-rays, Orientation, Team Interviews
Day 2, Wednesday, March 1 -- Measurements, Medical Examinations, Team Interviews
Day 3, Thursday, March 2 -- Psychological Testing, NFLPA Meeting, Media, Bench Press, Team Interviews
Day 4, Friday, March 3 -- On-field Workouts (Televised by NFL Network) and Depart Indianapolis
The week’s schedule for the other position groups for the 2017 NFL Combine are as follows:
Quarterbacks / Wide Receivers / Tight Ends -- Wednesday, March 1 - Saturday, March 4
Defensive Linemen / Linebackers --Thursday, March 2 - Sunday, March 5
Defensive Backs -- Friday, March 3 - Monday, March 6
Hill decided to enter this year’s NFL Draft following completion of his junior season at Wyoming. At the conclusion of the 2016 season, he was named Third Team All-American by College Sports Madness. Hill also earned 2016 First Team All-Mountain West Conference honors in voting by conference head coaches and media, and he was one of 10 semifinalists for the 2016 Doak Walker Award that honors the nation’s premier running back.
In 2016, Hill ranked No. 3 in the nation in: total rushing yards (1,860); No. 4 in rushing TDs (22); No. 7 in average rushing yards per game (132.9); No. 7 in total points scored (132); and No. 12 in points scored per game (9.4). In his three years at Wyoming, he set new Wyoming school records for: career rushing yards (4,287); single-season rushing yards (1,860); career carries (775); single-season carries (349); career touchdowns rushing (35); and single-season TDs rushing (22).
Roullier is coming off a senior season that saw him earn Second Team All-America honors from USA Today Sports. He was also selected First Team All-Mountain West Conference in voting by conference head coaches and media. Roullier was selected to and participated in the East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Fla., in January. He was named to both the 2016 Outland Trophy Watch List and the 2016 Rotary Lombardi Award Watch List. Roullier was a national semifinalist for the 2016 National Football Foundation William V. Campbell Scholar-Athlete Award. He played in 48 career games at Wyoming, starting 42 of those games. His senior season he played center after playing guard his previous three seasons at Wyoming.
