Nate Weinman was selected to the MaxPreps/ JJHuddle All-Ohio Football All-State Second Team for small schools.  He helped lead Norwayne  High to an 11-2 overall record, a 7-0 conference record and the Wayne County Conference championship.  Weinman's Norwayne team advanced on to the Ohio Division 5 State Playoffs.  Norwayne won its Region 18 quarterfinal game (28-6 over Genoa Area) and Region 18 semifinal game (28-21 over Swanton) before falling in the Region 18 Finals (20-27) to Edison), just one game shy of the Division 5 Final Four.  He was coached by head football coach Adam Indorf.

      Weinman was also recruited by Ball State, Eastern Michigan and Miami (Ohio).
