Cowgirl Basketball Adds One Student-Athlete

She will join the program in the fall of 2018

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Nov. 14, 2017) — Wyoming Cowgirl head basketball coach Joe Legerski today announced the addition of Tereza Vitulova who will attend the University of Wyoming beginning in the fall of 2018.
 
"Tereza provides tremendous size and experience on the inside," Legerski said. "Her physical play is what we need moving forward and is skilled enough to play facing the basket as well. Tereza signing will be the last for the November period."

Tereza Vitulova (Te Raize Uh, Vee Too Low Vuh), 6-2, Forward, Domasov, Czech Republic (Sportovni Gymnazium L Danka):   A member of the U18 National Team in the Czech Republic. This past summer, she averaged 10.4 points, 4.9 rebounds while helping the team to a fourth place finish at the U18 FIBA Women's European Championships. Her U16 team won the Division A title in 2015 and were the runners up at the tournament in 2014. During her career, she has averaged 8.1 points and five rebounds. She has won three gold medals at the Czech Championships and was the MVP and an All-Star selection twice. She is the daughter of Renata Vitulova. She has one sibling, Veronika Lorencova.
 
Vitulova is the fourth student-athlete in the 2018-19 Cowgirl basketball recruiting class. She joins Karla Erjavec (5-10, F, Zagreb, Croatia); Maria Torreblanca (5-10, G, Melilla, Spain) and Quinn Weidemann (5-9, G, Omaha, Neb.).
