The Wyoming Cowboy basketball team will practice in Casper inside Swede Erickson Thunderbird Gymnasium on the campus of Casper College this coming Saturday (Oct. 7). The practice, which is opened to the public will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Fans are invited to join the Pokes on the floor after practice for autographs and photos. Fans will also get a chance to pick up this season's team poster.

The Cowboys will also visit the Boys and Girls Club in Casper Saturday afternoon prior to practice.

"We want to take every opportunity to bring our programs to communities around the state of Wyoming," University of Wyoming Athletics Director Tom Burman said. "This is particularly exciting because our team will have a chance to visit the young people at the Boys and Girls Club."

The practice is another in a series of outreach opportunities that the University of Wyoming Athletics Department conducts throughout the state. The Cowboy wrestlers will face Oklahoma State in Cheyenne on Dec. 19 in Storey Gymnasium. The track and field program will head to Gillette for its annual dual in January.
