DENVER, Colo. – Freshman Scotia Mullin was named the Western
Athletic Conference Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference on
Thursday.
Mullin, a native of Glasgow,
Scotland, scored a 313.73 on the 3-meter springboard in Saturday’s dual against
Colorado School of Mines. His mark was enough for a first-place finish and just
shy of an NCAA qualifying score. The conference honor is the first of his
career and third for a Wyoming diver this season.
Wyoming swimming and diving will return
to the pool this afternoon against Denver and Minnesota. The double-dual,
hosted in Denver, Colo., is set to begin at 4 p.m. MT and will continue on
Saturday starting at 12 p.m.
