2016-17 MBB Schedule | Tickets
The Wyoming Cowboys announced game times and television coverage for the upcoming
2016-17 season on Thursday. The announcement came in connection with the
Mountain West Conference and its network television partners announcing the
2016-17 conference television package.
The Cowboys will be featured on television 13 times during the regular
season, starting with the Cowboys hosting Northern Iowa in the Mountain
West/Missouri Valley Conference Challenge on Saturday, Dec. 3 on Campus
Insiders.
Wyoming is scheduled to appear on CBS Sports Network telecasts two times
during the regular season. ROOT SPORTS is scheduled to televise five Cowboy
games including both Border War contests with Colorado State.
Campus Insiders will carry one non-conference contest that features Campus
Insiders will also carry the Pokes’ home contest against UNLV on Wednesday,
Jan. 25. UW will have two games featured on FS1 during the Continental Tire Las
Vegas Classic on Dec. 22 and 23.
Additionally, the Cowboys will have two contests showcased on ESPN3. The
Pokes home games against Nevada on Saturday, Jan. 14 and New Mexico on
Saturday, Feb. 25 will be featured.
One home game and two Wyoming road contests were moved to different dates
from the original schedule released in late June to accommodate television
coverage. The Cowboys home contest against Colorado State was moved to Tuesday,
Feb. 14. It was originally set for Wednesday, Feb. 15. Wyoming will now play at
San Diego State on Tuesday, Jan. 31 in a game to be televised by CBS Sports
Network. That game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 1. The Pokes
will play at Colorado State on Tuesday, Feb. 28 rather than the original date
of Wednesday, March. 1. That game will be televised on ROOT SPORTS.
All home game times for the Cowboys have been set.
