With only 19 days remaining before the season opener, the
University of Wyoming Cowgirl volleyball team will report tomorrow (Aug. 8) to
begin its fall practices. UW will make its way to the Purdue Mortar Board Premier
on Aug. 26-27, to face Purdue, Kentucky and Washington State.
Leading up to the 2016 season, we will take a look at each
Cowgirl and count down the days to the opening match.
Sophomore outside hitter Mattison DeGarmo, No. 19 for the
Cowgirls, played in 24 matches during her rookie campaign in the brown and
gold. She was one of seven Cowgirls to have at least 100 kills. She posted
highs in kills (ten) at New Mexico and blocks (five) at Utah State.
