The countdown ends today as we are now less than 24 hours from the beginning of the 2016 season! Tomorrow will bring in a brand new season, as UW will take on No. 20 Purdue at 8 a.m., MT. Wyoming will also face No. 24 Kentucky and Washington State at the Purdue Mortar Board Premier.

Freshman defensive specialist Madi Fields will wear the No. 1 jersey for the Cowgirls this season. She was a four-year letterwinner, a three-time All-Valley League selection and a two-time team captain at Mission Vista high school in Oceanside, Calif.

Favorite vacation spot?  Mexico.

Do you have any secret/special talents? I can wiggle my ears.
