University of Wyoming Athletics announced on Wednesday
that it will be video streaming the Wyoming vs. UC Davis football game on
Saturday, Sept. 17 through WyoVision, its online video player. Fans may
watch the stream of the Wyoming-UC Davis game for free by going to UW
Athletics’ official website, GoWyo.com. The game will be institutionally
produced by the UW Athletics’ video department in conjunction with the Mountain
West Network (MWN).
In addition to the game
being available through GoWyo.com, the video stream will also be available for
viewing on the Mountain West Network and on Campus Insiders and may be accessed
through TheMW.com or Campusinsiders.com.
The Wyoming-UC Davis game
will kick off at 2 p.m. from Wyoming’s War Memorial Stadium. This is the
first time that Wyoming Athletics has video streamed a Cowboy Football
game. All other Cowboy Football games this season will be televised by
either CBS Sports Network, ESPN Networks or ROOT SPORTS.
As with Cowboy Basketball
games that are streamed on GoWyo.com, the audio from the Cowboy Sports Network
will be featured on the video stream of the Wyoming-UC Davis football
game.
Fans may also of course
listen to all home and away Cowboy Football games on the 26 affiliate radio
stations of the Cowboy Sports Network. Dave Walsh and Kevin McKinney will
again describe the action in 2016.
WyoVision’s first live
video stream of a UW Athletics event this season will take place this Friday,
Aug. 19 when Cowgirl Soccer hosts Houston Baptist in the regular-season opener
for the Cowgirls. That game is scheduled to start at 5 p.m., M.T. from
the Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex on the UW campus. That game will also
be available via GoWyo.com, TheMW.com and Campusinsders.com.
The Cowgirl soccer team
began the 2016 season with a 1-0 exhibition win over South Dakota on Friday,
Aug. 12 in Hastings, Neb.
All live video streams and
feature content on WyoVision are free.
