Just 11 days remain before the start of the 2016 season for Wyoming volleyball. Preseason preparation is well underway before UW opens its campaign in West Lafayette, Ind., at the Purdue Mortar Board Premier.

Middle blocker Laurel Place, No. 11 for the Cowgirls, enters the 2016 season as one of three Wyoming natives on the roster. Place, a sophomore, will provide depth at the middle position for UW this season.

Favorite restaurant?  Almanza’s.

Biggest pet peeve? People chewing with their mouth open!

Other than volleyball, what is your favorite sport? Basketball.

Favorite thing to do in Laramie? Coffee with the roomies and reading a good book.

Other than volleyball, what about the Olympics do you like most? Seeing the insane amount of hard work all the athletes have put in.

If one teammate had a reality show, who would it be? Mattie (DeGarmo). She is by far the chillest person on the team and somehow all the drama in the world finds her.
