Just short of two weeks is all that separates Wyoming
volleyball and its 2016 season opener at Purdue on August 26. The Cowgirls will
take on three non-conference foes while competing in the Purdue Mortar Board Premier
on Aug. 26-27.
Emily Lewis, a sophomore outside hitter, dons the No. 13
jersey for UW. She twice recorded double-digit kills a season ago and finished
fifth on the team with 108 total kills. Additionally, Lewis had 38 blocks
during her redshirt freshman season, posting a career-high of four against both
Idaho State and Air Force.
Favorite vacation spot? St.
George Island, Fla.
Favorite team bonding activity? Horseback riding at YMCA of the Rockies.
Do you have any secret/special talents? I can touch my thumb to my wrist.
Favorite thing to do in Laramie? Watch sunsets at Walmart.
Other than volleyball, what about the Olympics do you like
most? Track & Field.
If one teammate had a reality show, who would it be? Laura Beach – it would be so funny!
