The first of 31 regular season matches is just 15 days away
for the University of Wyoming Cowgirl volleyball team. Four separate
non-conference tournaments precede an 18-match Mountain West slate.
Reed Copeland, No. 15 for the Cowgirls, made quite the impression during her first
season in Laramie. She was the MW’s Freshman of the Year and led the nation in
total blocks and blocks per set. Copeland’s 190 total blocks and 121 in
conference play were both MW freshman records.

Most famous person ever met? One time, I saw Macklemore buying coffee downtown.
If one teammate had a reality show, who would it be? I could see Laura Beach with a cooking show
where she talked about all the recipes she liked to bake for her children. It
would take place in the kitchen of her home (maybe by the fireplace), as her
kids are running around smiling and cracking jokes.
