The University of Wyoming Cowboy basketball
team opened its exhibition schedule in the Bahamas on Tuesday night. The Pokes
came away with an 81-74 win over the CTG Knights in a trip sanctioned by the
NCAA. Head coach Allen Edwards shared a few thoughts with GoWyo.com.
Edwards’ Thoughts:
There was also some good things
that carried over from our 10 days of practice that we were pleased with and we
look to build off of that.” “I was happy with our ability to fight and comeback to
win the game. There are somethings we did not do well that will need specific
attention. We will address these things and look for growth in our team going
forward.
“The International rules are different from that of the
NCAA, but I don’t think it was much of a factor in the way we played our game.”
Edwards will add
more thoughts after UW’s final contest on Thursday.
Wyoming will be in action tonight at 5
p.m. against the IBA Elite.
