The University of Wyoming men's and women's track and field teams combined for four all-time top-10 performances at two meets on Friday. Redshirt freshman Jerayah Davis was the top performance for the Cowgirls with the fourth-fastest 60 meters in school history, while senior Aaron Derner ran the fifth-fastest 5,000 meters for the Cowboys.

Davis' performance came in Albuquerque, N.M., at the Don Kirby Invite. Her personal-best time of 7.48 was 13th best on Friday and qualified her for Saturday's final. The time kept her fourth in Cowgirl history in the event and is the fourth fastest in the Mountain West this season. Senior McKenzie Brogan ran a personal-best 24.67 in the 200 meters for the 10th-fastest time in Cowgirl history. For the Cowboys, junior Jordan Charles posted the top time in the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles in 7.94. Freshman Ryan Younggreen also advanced in 13th at 8.33, just three hundredths of a second away from UW's top 10. Charles also finished 16th in the 200 meters in 21.74.

At the Husky Classic in Seattle, Derner finished in 14:24.02 to better his personal best by over five seconds and move to fifth in Cowboy history. Senior Dylan Morin was right behind him in 14:27.43, just fourth tenths of a second away from his personal best. The two are now sixth and seventh in the MW in the event this season. In the women's 5,000 meters, junior Megan Brunette moved up to eighth in Cowgirl history with a time of 17:19.98 for 12th in the MW this season. Senior Tyler Anderson placed sixth in the weight throw with a mark of 61-0 1/4.

Both meets conclude Saturday.
