Final Results  

The University of Wyoming women's golf team finished the final round of the BYU Entrada Classic with a 918 (+54) on the Snow Canyon course in St. George, Utah. Wyoming finished in 10th place in the 15-team field after shooting the fifth lowest score of the tournament and the Cowgirls lowest round of the season of 299 (+11), through 18-holes. The Cowgirls had a first round of 310 (+22) and shot a 309 (+21) for the second round.

"I couldn't be more proud of this team this week," UW head coach Josey Stender said. "They have really embraced a more confident style of play and preparation. To have the fifth lowest score today in a nationally competitive field is a testament to their hard work and talent."

Sophomores Mackenzie Barrie and Taylor Dorans continued to lead the Cowgirls and finished tied for 30th and tied for 34th, respectively. Barrie fired a 73 (+1), three strokes better than her second round to end with a 227 (+11). Dorans carded a total score of 229 (+13), after shooting a 76 (+4) on Tuesday.

Senior Samantha Stancato tied for 46th after turning in a score of 232 (+13). Redshirt freshman Gabrielle Gibson shot a 234 (+18) with a final round 74 (+2), for 49th place. Rounding out the Cowgirls was junior Kathleen Kershisnik, who notched an 83 (+11) for a tally of 247 (+31). Junior Emily Woodard, golfing as an individual, concluded the event with a total of 240 (+24) for 62nd place.

California won the tournament after the final round with an 856 (-8). BYU's Alex White won the individual title with a total of 208 (-8).

The Cowgirls return at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz., on Friday and Saturday.
