Desmar Jackson scored 21 points and had a career-high six steals to lead Wyoming to a 68-55 victory over Kennesaw State on Tuesday night.
Djibril Thiam added 14 points for the Cowboys (7-7), while Amath M'Baye and Francisco Cruz each had 12.
Markeith Cummings scored 14 points and Kelvin McConnell added 12 for the Owls (2-10), which have lost 10 straight.
Afam Muojeke's 3-pointer with 15:03 remaining gave Wyoming a 39-38 lead. The Cowboys then quickly expanded their advantage to 46-38 with consecutive dunks by Thiam and a dunk and a free throw by Jackson.
McConnell hit a 3 to bring the Owls to within 50-47, but Cruz answered with his own 3 to spark a 13-2 surge that gave Wyoming a 63-49 lead with 2:23 left to play.
