LARAMIE, Wyo. -

For the fourth straight year the University of Wyoming women's cross country team was named to the 2009 NCAA Division I USTFCCCA Women's Cross Country All-Academic team.

A record total of 176 Division I women's programs received USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors, up from 2008's total of 162. The Mountain West Conference had five teams make the list, Colorado State (3.62), UNLV (3.37), New Mexico (3.41), Utah (3.10) and Wyoming (3.27).

For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Championship and also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative GPA.
