The Cowboy Joe Club, the University of Wyoming's main fundraising arm, announced today that Friday, September 25th is the deadline to RSVP your ticket for the 23rd Annual Cowboy Joe Club Auction, presented by IGC Management. There are a very limited tables and seats still available.
All Wyoming fans are invited to attend the event, to be held Friday, October 9th in Cheyenne at Little America's Grand Ballroom. The auction will feature: a live auction, silent auction, dinner, open bar, the Voice of the Cowboys - Dave Walsh as emcee; the Madden Brothers as auctioneers; Wyoming Staff and Head Coaches.
This year's auction, once again chaired by 2007 White Hat Award recipient - Harry Kembel, will be sponsored by IGC Management of Cheyenne. Popular items that will be featured for bid include:

To be eligible to win the one year lease on the 2009 Pontiac Solstice, participants may purchase playing card(s) for $20 each. Winning card holder need not be present to win, drawing will take place the night of the auction, and there is no limit on cards purchased.
Last year's auction, also chaired by Kembel, raised more than $250,000 toward Wyoming student-athlete scholarships and resources. This year the auction committee has established a goal of $260,000.
Attire for this year's auction is business casual, with an emphasis on Gameday Gold. To purchase your auction tickets, tables of eight or ten, as well as Pontiac Solstice playing cards, please call the Cowboy Joe Club at 307-766-6242 today.
Again, reservations for the auction are due by September 25th, and this event will be a sellout.
