The Wyoming Cowboys, coming off back-to-back wins the past two weeks, will travel to San Diego, Calif., this Saturday to play Mountain West Conference opponent San Diego State. The game will mark the 25th meeting between the two conference rivals.
Wyoming recorded a big win over MWC foe Brigham Young last week in Laramie. The Cowboys won by a score of 13-10 over the Cougars. Meanwhile, San Diego State dropped a home contest to New Mexico by a 30-7 score.
Wyoming brings a record of 3-4, 1-1 in the MWC into Saturday's game. SDSU is 3-5, 0-3 in conference play.
The Pokes feature one of the top passing attacks in the Mountain West Conference, ranking second in the MWC and 30th in the nation in passing offense at 265.4 yards per game. The Aztecs are the top defensive team in the league, and rank 16th in the country, giving up an average of only 300.0 yards of total offense each contest.
Saturday's game will be televised on SportsWest TV, beginning at 8 p.m., Mountain time. In the state of Wyoming, the game will be carried live by KTWO-TV of Casper, Wyo.
