Wyoming sophomore Jessica Fox and Colorado State junior Drew Loftin have been selected as the Mountain West Conference Women's and Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, respectively.

Jessica Fox - Wyoming
Sophomore ? Sprints ? Burns, Wyo./Burns HS
Fox set a new school record in the 400-meter dash with a NCAA automatic qualifying time of 52.79 at the Tom Benich Classic in Greeley, Colo., on Saturday. Her time is the third fastest in MWC history and currently the top mark in the conference and third best in the nation this season.
MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Drew Loftin - Colorado State
Junior ? Throws ? Woodland Park, Colo./Woodland Park HS
Loftin won the shot put, 55' 3 3/4", and the hammer throw, 220' 2", with NCAA qualifying marks at the Tom Benich Classic in Greeley, Colo., on Saturday. His throw in the shot ranks second in the MWC this season and is 28th in the nation. The junior's mark in the hammer is the second best in MWC history and currently the top mark in the conference and third farthest in the nation this season.
