Wyoming junior Galen Gough has been named Mountain West Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Gough, a Sydney, Australia, native swam to a first and second place finish and was part of the winning 400-yard medley relay team, as the Cowboys fell to Southwest Missouri State in Lawrence, Kan. on November 9. He started the meet winning the 200-yard individual medley and placing second in the 200-yard butterfly with times of 1:56.36 and 1:52.49, respectively. Gough completed the meet by being part of the winning 400-yard medley relay team, posting a time of 3:29.31.
