PROVO, Utah - Matt Berry threw for a career-high 360 yards and foundGabriel Reid for a 4-yard touchdown with 3:28 left as Brigham Young rallied tobeat Wyoming 35-31 Saturday night.
The Cougars (5-5, 2-3 Mountain West) won their second straight after athree-game losing streak, and now need one more victory to become eligible fora bowl game.
Wyoming (2-8, 1-4) took a 31-28 lead with 9:10 to play when Derek Armah ranfor a 3-yard touchdown and Casey Bramlet threw to Malcolm Floyd for the 2-pointconversion.
BYU answered with a 12-play, 64-yard drive that consumed more than 5?minutes and ended with Reid's clinching reception. The drive nearly stalled atthe Cowboys 8-yard line, but Cougars coach Gary Crowton went for it onfourth-and-1, and Berry ran for the first down.
Berry, a freshman making his fourth start, completed 31 of 45 passes and hadthree TD passes.
Marcus Whalen ran for 124 yards and a touchdown for BYU.
Wyoming got back in the game late in the third quarter when Jacque Finnintercepted Berry's underthrown pass and returned it 100 yards to cut BYU'slead to 28-23.
Armah also caught a 36-yard touchdown pass from Bramlet, who was 21-of-36for 283 yards. Bramlet's 3-yard run opened the scoring.
BYU's Reno Mahe had eight catches for 80 yards. He now has 2,067 careerreceiving yards.
