This Week: The Cowgirls will be on the road this week. They will take onthe Air Force Academy on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m., and then NewMexico, Saturday night, at 7:00 p.m.

About Air Force: The Cowgirls will face the Air Force Academy Falcons onThursday night. The Falcons are 3-20 overall and 0-10 in the conference.They are led by junior Rozalyn Russ, who is averaging 9.5 points and 6.4rebounds. As a team, they are shooting 36% from the field and 67% fromthe charity stripe. This is the 19th meeting between the two teams,Wyoming leads the series 17-1. The last time these two teams met wasJan. 27, 2001 in Laramie with the Cowgirls coming out on top, 58-54. TheFalcons are coached by Sue Darling, who is in her third season.

About New Mexico: The Cowgirls will close out the weekend against theNew Mexico Lobos. The Lobos are currently 14-10 overall and 5-5 inconference play. Sophomore center Jordan Adams leads the way for NewMexico, averaging 15.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest. They areaveraging 43% from the field and 68.8 points per game. This is the 39thmeeting between the two schools, New Mexico leads 20-18. The last timethese two teams met was Jan. 25, 2001 in Laramie, with the Lobos comingout on top, 57-53. New Mexico is coached by Don Flanagan, who is in hissixth season.
