About Air Force: The Cowgirls will face the Air Force Academy Falcons onThursday night. The Falcons are 3-20 overall and 0-10 in the conference.They are led by junior Rozalyn Russ, who is averaging 9.5 points and 6.4rebounds. As a team, they are shooting 36% from the field and 67% fromthe charity stripe. This is the 19th meeting between the two teams,Wyoming leads the series 17-1. The last time these two teams met wasJan. 27, 2001 in Laramie with the Cowgirls coming out on top, 58-54. TheFalcons are coached by Sue Darling, who is in her third season.
About New Mexico: The Cowgirls will close out the weekend against theNew Mexico Lobos. The Lobos are currently 14-10 overall and 5-5 inconference play. Sophomore center Jordan Adams leads the way for NewMexico, averaging 15.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest. They areaveraging 43% from the field and 68.8 points per game.
