Udezue Will Not Play In Cowboys' First Three Games

LARAMIE, Wyo. -

Wyoming Head Coach SteveMcClain announced Friday that junior post player Ugo Udezue will besuspended from the Cowboys' first three regular-season games of the year dueto a violation of team rules.

McClain indicated that neither he nor Udezue would comment on thesituation. He said the native of Enugu, Nigeria, would not be available toplay until the Montana State game on Dec. 3, at Billings. He still maypractice with the team during the suspension, McClain said.

Udezue played in Wyoming's two exhibition games averaging 8.5 pointsand 5.5 rebounds. His high game came last Tuesday night when he scored 13against the California All-Stars.

McClain said he was uncertain as to whom would replace Udezue in thestarting lineup.
