LARAMIE, Wyo. - The Mountain West Conference has announced the Academic All-Mountain West Conference honorees for the sport of women's cross country. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and be a significant contributor on the team.
Forty-seven student-athletes qualified for the academic all-conference team in the sport of women's cross country. The University of Wyoming garnered the most honorees with eight, Air Force and San Diego State were second with seven, BYU and UNLV each had six, followed by Utah (5), Colorado State (4) and New Mexico (4).
