Wyoming Women's Team to Tee Off Spring Season at Boise State BroncoInvitational: The 2000 spring season begins for the Wyoming women's golfteam this week at the Boise State Bronco Invitational on March 13 and 14.

Wyoming will join host Boise State, Idaho State, the University ofPortland, the University of British Columbia and Mesa State College ofColorado in the two-day event.

The format for the tournament is 36 holes with one 18-hole roundbeing played each on Monday and Tuesday, March 13 and 14.

The Plantation Country Club in Boise, Idaho, will be the host coursefor the event.

This is the the sixth time Boise State has hosted a spring women'sgolf tournament, and is the first time since 1997.

Leading the way for Wyoming will be senior Jordan Lintz, who placedin the Top 25 individuals at five of six fall tournaments during the 1999fall season. Lintz also led UW in stroke average in the fall with anaverage of 76.1 strokes per round.

A native of Rapid City, S.D., Lintz enters the spring season rankedNo. 56 in the nation in the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings.

The MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings are sponsored by MasterCard, administered by the College Golf Foundation and compiled by Golf Stat.The rankings are a computerized ranking of college teams and individualsbased on performance during the 1999-2000 season.
