University of Wyoming seniorJordan Lintz shot rounds of 74 and 79 to tie for 27th place and the WyomingCowgirls finished 13th at the University of Colorado Heather Farr MemorialGolf Tournament in Louisville, Colo. The tournament was originallyscheduled for 54 holes, but was cut to 36 when the final round was snowedout on Tuesday.
"We had a great second round on Monday, despite very cold conditionsin Boulder," said UW women's golf coach Jill Johnson. "We shot a 323 in thefirst round and came back with a 315 in the afternoon, which is the bestround we've shot in quite awhile.
"I was really looking forward to seeing what the girls could do onTuesday, coming off that fine second round, but the weather didn'tcooperate. Overall I was very encouraged with the way the girls played, andI know they were excited about Monday afternoon's round. Three individualsshot in the 70s for us in the afternoon round, and that's the kind ofbalance we need."
The CU Heather Farr Memorial was played at the Coal Creek GolfCourse in Louisville, Colo. The course measured 6,593 yards and played to apar of 72.
