The University of Wyoming women's basketball team earned their first conference road win of the season by defeating the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Thursday, February 25, by a score of 79-63.
The Cowgirls used a 42-point first half to take control of the game and then never looked back on their way to a 16-point margin of victory.
UW was led by the late-surging sophomore Shelby Hoffman and senior center Rebecca Tomlin with 18 points apiece. Freshman point guard Molly Marso added 16 points and fellow freshman Carrie Bacon scored 12 points.
Air Force received a 25-point performance from Elycia Hall and 19 points from Megan Thiedeman.
The Cowgirl's final game of the regular season will take place Saturday, February 27, against UNLV in Las Vegas.
