LARAMIE, Wyo. - Wyoming traveled to Greeley, Colo., this past Thursday, Feb. 11, and defeated the University of Northern Colorado Bears 24-12. The dual started at 133, and the Cowboys won the first two matches by major decision as Chris Walker (133) and Kelly McConville (141) both dominated their opponents. Brian Wood (165) also won by major decision. Brandon Dansie (174) and Steve Schenk (184) both won by decision to help UW. Heavyweight Abe Boomer won a huge match by pinning Chris Villalobos at 2:48. The win gave Wyoming a dual record of 5-5-1 on the year.
