The Wyoming tennis team closed out play on Saturday at the ITA Mountain Regional Tournament.

"We finished off the weekend on a high note," head coach Dean Clower said. "I feel good about where we are now and where we will be in a few months of the regular season. We need to continue working on a few things and have the team ready for our next tournament."

In singles play, senior Dorottya Jonas defeated Brandy Walker of Northern Arizona in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5, while Elisa Koonik beat Nini Guensler of Utah State, 8-7.  

The Cowgirls will return to action on Friday at the Colorado State Invitational in Ft. Collins.
