LARAMIE, Wyoming (10/28/25) – The University of Wyoming soccer team closes out its 2025 season on Thursday. The Cowgirls host Colorado State at 3 p.m. at the Madrid Sports Complex. The game will be broadcast on the Mountain West Sports Network.

The Pokes possess a 7-6-5 overall record and a 2-4-3 (9 points) Mountain West Conference mark. Colorado State is 10-3-4 overall and 4-2-3 (15 points) in league. The game could have an effect on the Rams' seed at the conference tournament, which begins Sunday, while Wyoming is eliminated from postseason contention.

The Cowgirls will look to finish on a high note. They dropped a pair of 1-0 decisions on their final road trip of the season at New Mexico and San Diego State.

Alyssa Glover still leads the conference in goals with 10 and points with 23. She's enjoyed an applaud-worthy season where her goals scored are the second highest in a single season in program history, her point total is fifth and her six game-winning goals are the most ever in any one season.
 
The league's second-best goal scorer will be present Thursday, as well. Colorado State's Olivia Fout has found the back of the net nine times in 2025.

The two best goalkeepers will also be on hand. The Rams' Gray Wilson has 57 saves with 13 goals allowed for a GAA of 0.76, while Pokes' keeper, Haley Bartel, lays claim to 52 saves, having surrendered 14 goals for a GAA of 0.78.  

Bartel is putting together her second consecutive stout season. She's logged eight shutouts, which is one shy of the program's single-season record that she set last year. Bartel is also second all-time with 18 career clean sheets.

Wyoming has dominated the all-time series with Colorado State. The Cowgirls hold a 9-1-2 record against their rivals from the south. However, the Rams took the last matchup in Laramie, 1-0, in 2023 prior to a 0-0 draw last season in Fort Collins.
