"I think our kids were ready to play and came out strong tonight," Cowgirl head coach Carrie Yerty said. "We did not take Pueblo for granted and we played very aggressive. We were able to play different lineups tonight and that is great to get everyone some game experience. I was proud of our kids tonight."

Erin Kirby had her best blocking match of the season recording 10 total blocks with one solo and nine assisted. Next up for the Cowgirls is a trip south to Fort Collins, Colo., for a meeting with Colorado State in the first edition of the 2012 Border War on Friday, Oct. 5, with the first serve set for 7:45 p.m. MT.
"Hopefully with back-to-back wins it gives our team a little more confidence going into a huge match against CSU," Yerty said. "It does not take our team a lot to get ready against CSU, but I think these matches will give us some more confidence."
