BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Brandon Ewing scored 23 points to lead Wyoming to a 73-62 victory over Montana State Saturday night.
It was the Cowboys' 13th consecutive victory over the Bobcats over the past 15 seasons. Joseph Taylor contributed 16 points, James Spencer added 12, and Chris Anderson had 10.
Carlos Taylor led MSU (2-6) with 20 points. Carson Durr had 16, and Nick Dissly 13.
The Bobcats charged to a 25-13 lead in the first 10 minutes by making nine of their first 11 shots. Wyoming (6-1) rallied for a 31-31 tie at halftime.
The Cowboys took the lead for good when reserve Eric Platt drilled a 3-pointer to break a 39-39 deadlock with just over 13 minutes remaining. A 7-0 run gave Wyoming a 61-50 lead at the 3:40 mark.
Wyoming shot 57 percent and held a 31-24 rebounding advantage. The Bobcats shot 43 percent.
